The volcanic fortress of the Brunham Raiders is the second “big castle” of the new Novelmore range. It is composed of 215 pieces. Novelmore ? Burnham Raiders ? Which camp will your child choose?
The story of the Burnham Raiders knights
The Burnham Knights Raiders are rebels from the Grimson Caldera area who oppose the Novelmore Knights. Their goal? To seize the armor that makes invincible, the Invicibus created by Dario Da Vinci. They are great masters of fire.
The Burnham Raiders are composed of powerful knights, fire is their fetish element. Among the main characters, you will be able to cross :
- Sir Bayron Burnham : leader of the Burnham Raiders, Bayron is a bloodthirsty man who does not hesitate to fan the flames! He tries to control himself but is always brought back in his shortcomings by his court jester Kahboom. Initially, he was a Novelmore nobleman but was chased away because of pyromania. Having never accepted it, he is seeking revenge.
- Brody Burnham: son of the Bayron chief, Brody is wiser than his father. A great traveler, he seeks his father’s recognition and thinks that taking possession of the Invicibus armor will help him to be recognized at its true value. He has the power to make himself invisible.
- The Lucifex Knight: the star knight of the Burnham Raiders. He is very strong but of limited intelligence. His greatest wish is to destroy Novelmore.
- Kahbomm : The jester of Bayron Burnham is diabolical ! He loves to sow discord and put oil on the fire! His taste for pyromania helps him to destroy and sow chaos in his path.
Other characters from the Burnham Raiders clan include the fire keeper Pyralia, the mad inventor Flinton Spark, the blacksmith Sulphur, the spy Tindercloak and the demonic knight Magmathon.

With the scenery planted, we can take a closer look at the volcanic fortress of the Burnham Raiders 70221!
The volcanic fortress of the Burnham Raiders is equipped with a large tower that hides a trap door, a drawbridge, many cannons that will fire projectiles at the enemies on all sides. The attackers will be surprised by the gutters that will throw fireballs!
To take the Burnham Raiders fortress, you will have to force one of its two entrances. A breakable wall will allow the enemies to take the castle.
A cage will allow to put the dragon in it, which when it will go out will defend the building with ardour!
The dungeon is located in the volcanic rock of the fortress 70221. You can still enlarge this superb castle by adding the extension 9841 (extension facade with prison and breakable wall for the Burnham Raiders’ fortress). If you wish to purchase both constructions, Playmobil provides you with a package consisting of set 70221 and set 9841. You will find it under the name Maxiplaymo Burnham Raiders I PM1908G.
The characters you will find in set 70221 are the chief Bayron Burnham, his son Brody, the knight Lucifex and the blacksmith Sulphur. Prody’s fire horse and a dragon are also present.
Accessories include a chest, gemstones, a throne, numerous torches and flames, blacksmith’s tools, weapons and shields.
